Since it's release, thousands of singers worldwide have used this method to warm up and learn how to sing better. This is the original version of Susan Anders' vocal warm up and voice training method, consisting of pop, rock and jazz songs from the 1940s-90s that gradually increase in difficulty--no scales, no arpeggios...nothing but songs. The songs can be sung with the lyrics or with the recommended vocal warm up sounds.
The No Scales, Just Songs Vocal Workout includes:
- Two CDs of 17 fully produced songs. Disc 1 includes the songs with vocals and instructional introductions. Disc 2 has the same songs without vocals. Disc 2 also has a section on how to stylize the songs once they are mastered.
- A 53-page updated guidebook including detailed vocal technique information, song lyrics, vocal warm-up tips, troubleshooting hints, vocal stylizing ideas, a glossary, study tips and more.
Sing the Warm-up Set: to loosen up, learn how to breathe correctly, increase your range, and build control, resonance and better tone.
Sing the Workout Set: to increase your volume, vocal endurance, sustenance, belting ability, and pitch dexterity.
Beginning singers can sing through the workout at their own pace to learn how to sing correctly, and to build good vocal technique and strength. Experienced singers can skip the instructional intros and use the workout as a vocal warm-up to maintain their vocal technique and strength.

From accuracy to articulation, from tonality to power, these singing lessons will help even seasoned professionals. With excellent recording quality and a super band."

"Finally -- a vocal warm up that dispenses with scales and warms your voice up singing great songs! Susan also manages to sneak in all sorts of important information on how to avoid vocal injuries and get the most out of the warm-up. My voice feels great after using the CD, I get to sing some wonderful songs, and it doesn't feel like la-la-la singing lessons. Lovely!"
